Wrote half of this last night, and continued it today..requesting you all to pray for my exams, and for contentment with whatever Allah has Decreed for me..
Tears stream freely down her face
Hating those who broke her family
Her home is now a foreign place
Rid of all peace & tranquility
Her head throbs as she hears them fight
Its hard to believe its been 30 long years
Words full of bitter hatred & spite
Surpass her trembling fingers to poison her ears
She wants to be a child again
She hates being able to understand
She wants it all to be foreign
Tagging on between them whilst clutching their hands
She wants them to joke around again
Welcome each other with warming smiles
...For how long will this hatred reign?
Will they forever be crippled by this acidic lifestyle?
'Where are the criminals who have cast this spell?'
'Why have they snatched happiness from our hands?'
She knows the answers to both all too well
But the question that now lingers on her mind is...
How much more of this inhumanity can she withstand?
